Why Satellite™ Was Created
Satellite™ was borne of a clear pattern that kept repeating.
Even when the work is done well—across different methods, different philosophies, and different levels of experience—results are often slow, inconsistent, or incomplete. While basic behaviors can be trained, more complex cases—fear, anxiety, aggression, instability, reactivity, dysregulation, and so on—rarely resolve cleanly. They are managed, maintained, and worked around.
At the same time, outcomes vary depending on the person handling the dog. The same dog may respond completely differently to different people, pointing to something deeper than technique.
There are also consistent errors in how dogs fundamental motivations are being understood. Behavior is being assessed in isolated moments without a full picture of temperament. Similar-looking behaviors are grouped together, even when they come from entirely different internal states. From there, the work becomes more complex than it needs to be—requiring more time, more intervention, and ongoing professional involvement.
For owners, that translates into more cost, more effort, and more frustration, often without a clear endpoint.
Satellite™ was created to address that directly: to identify the dog accurately, eliminate misinterpretation at the start, and focus the work on what actually drives behavior. The goal was a system that is clear, transferable, and capable of producing real resolution within a defined, realistic timeframe.
